YOGA

In this unique approach to yoga the emphasis
is on “undoing” observing, allowing the body’s
movements to unfold from a natural response to what Vanda referred
to as our three friends-Breath, Gravity and the Wave.
Although Vanda’s legacy is unique
in its simplicity, the practice challenges our
ability to be truly be attentive, to let go, unlearn, and trust
our innate bodily intelligence.
Integrating the above principles into our yoga
practice, we discover the body’s physiological need to
be rooted towards the ground, giving rise to a natural feeling
of lightness and freedom within the postures.
As we work with this approach, style and performance
fall away and postures begin to unfold from the gentle rhythmic
action of the breath involving the whole body and spine. Read
